What Is To Be Done

Every day offers
A separate dilemma.
A bridge to be crossed
An obstacle to upturn
Or a meadow of dewed grass.
What is to be done
Is to cross the day:
To elicit navigations
Which, fate willing,
Will see you from A to B.
And if they do not
Then look about you
For the myth of safety
Is as mist,
Unreachable and thirsty.
But, with patience,
It is also easy to divert.
