Age

The danger of age
Is that the world shrinks.
It becomes four walls and a garden.
A population of few.
It needn’t be as such
but largely is.
Not much time is
Taken for older folk,
An invisible species.
I declare the playground
for the young
Is a mere guise.
And the passage of time
Transfers the import of much.
